the mass adoption of the ´bottom/top/switch´ dynamics as a widely usuable injoke shows the ways in which gay culture has been completely assimilated. instead of straight people rudely asking ´who is the man´ to gay couples, they can now ´party with us´ by creating elaborate bottom and top scenarios with various fictional characters, joke about themselves probably being bottom if they were gay, or any other form of proactive social play.

this is still just dresscoating for the fact that they do not respect us or take us seriously.
