Suddenly I am transported back to when I was standing in the principal's office demanding to know why female students were banned from mechanics class.
His response was
"Why should you worry your pretty little head about something your husband can take care of?"
My reply:
"Because history proved too often husbands cheat and take off and leave women burdened not only with children but crappy cars in need to repair"
I was sentenced to supervised detention for 2 weeks.
