FluxWhat I find so odd, is that so many Americans don't understand why alliances with countries is more benefits them. Like they don't seem to grasp that defence treaties are also often foundations for free trade agreements, or visa agreements. By literally bullying or threatening them you risk justifying them no longer turning a blind eye to you when you do shitty things, shared intelligence or allowing foreign military bases on their soil. You ironically need them more than they need you.
