For anyone reading the Wandering Inn, you know how..extreme it can get. That's my limit, and to be honest, if it were shorter, or if it were a TV show or movie, I probably wouldn't read/watch it. It's all the happy and fun parts, as well as the peacetime character developement, that makes it worthwhile and keeps me coming back. But take something that's much shorter so it doesn't have time for most of that happy stuff, give it a downer beginning, a dark and violent middle, and a downer end,
