@eff If 'government officials' are not good enough for judging what children can see, who else is? The pastor? Or the company selling porn (de-regulation) Or a political party? Or a gay political party?
I think a simple age criterium is the only thing that can be upheld internationally. And then national governments can make a mess of it by deciding what they want to define as 'adult content'.
