It's not ideal, don't get me wrong, but gun ownership and approval among the population is also one of the least of my concerns compared to things like "the police arresting me for spurious or bigoted reasons and then v-coding me and denying me medical care" or "being tortured to the point of unrecognizability and left to die tied to a split rail fence in the middle of nowhere."
