𝗖 𝗔 𝗧This song, Der kleine Trompeter, was written in the 1920s during the Weimar Republic and quickly became a symbol of the German communist movement. The song is dedicated to the memory of Fritz Weineck, a young worker and brave fighter who lost his life during a demonstration in Halle (Saale).
