I should be able to declare myself as transgender once and then have that as the sole evidence that I need to get any medical procedure related to my transition done. I do not fucking CARE about the comfort of some THEORETICAL fucking cis person who was """tricked""" into transitioning and will regret having done so. They just need to tell people what'll happen with any given procedure and if someone makes the wrong decision that's one them. REAL trans people are suffering because of polices like this and it's unjust as fuck.
