I don't think "social media" is making people misinformed and angry and idiotic.

I think capitalist mega-corporations are making people misinformed and angry and idiotic, and part of their game is using social media.

It is not inadvertent, a side-effect, unintended, nor is it some inherent feature of social media.

It is a purposeful, conscious, effortful, willful means by which to extract every last drop of value from community.
