I don't depend on congressmen coming to my rescue, and the courts did overturn the obviously unlawful mandate that Biden tried to enact, under the rule of law. The same rule of law that will be used by literally tens of millions of people if they tried to pull that draft shit, again.

As for the economy getting shut down. Trump should have used the National Guard but instead listened to idiots who thought letting democrat governors shut down their state would get Trump re-elected. I guess they didn't plan on the election getting rigged. My state, Texas, did not shut down outside of small areas of democrat controlled cities, and only long enough for the state to come in and put a stop to it.

You can try to rewrite history over the jab mandate all you want, but simple fact is 1/3 of the country refused the jab and when 100 million people object to something like they did the jab, the mandate died. The draft would be no different.
