ploum@antonmoglia : it’s a matter of protocol trust. If pixelfed arbitrarily some posts, the communication is broken. A new fediverse app appeas, called "textfed" which don’t dispaly posts with picture and, suddenly, you don’t have a fediverse anymore.
Technically, comments without pictures and reboost without pictures are displayed so it is a (bad) design choice.
you could even display text-only posts as "collapsed" but, at least, they should be there.
