What's an effective way we could get more people off of these platforms?

My go to example of how hard it is is WhatsApp. It's the easiest platform to give up and there are better alternatives. I've been off WhatsApp for years and relied on Signal for social messaging.

While I managed to drag my immediate friends group (and that's probably only because a couple of us already had Signal), my wider social network is still largely on the major platforms.

We need a succession plan!
