Republicans going after trannyshit go after the issue of women's sports because it's the aspect of the issue that polls best. Dems are split roughly 50/50 on puberty blockers but around 2/3rds of them want to keep troons out of women's sports, because there's a TERF lesbian segment of the population that's indifferent or sympathetic to castrating little boys, but needs to keep their oh-so-precious women's sports safe. I like sports as much as the next guy, but it's downright sociopathic to be indifferent towards the chemical castration of children and stunting them for life, while getting worked up over sad high school/college white girls.
