@IngaLovinde @Stoori well let me clarify that the video I mentioned in my OP and the video I mentioned in my first reply were two different videos. The first one mentioned was this one dad who didn't provide much info outside of utilities and salary.
The second one was some young guy who didn't mention his salary, but showed what a typical day was for him. According to him, his situation is average, in that he is an average office worker. And as far as the 2 hour lunch break, many other Chinese commenters were chiming in to say that their lunch breaks are similar, or sometimes that they change seasonally (1.5 hours in winter, sometimes up to 3 in summer). I obvs don't live there, and if you choose to believe these people are lying about the typical experience I suppose you can, but I don't see a compelling reason to assume that all of them are lying.
I will say I think it's weird how much work you put in writing this and the other comment to minimize or disagree with firsthand accounts of people who live in China, and it's so funny to me that you got defensive and started talking about how much better it is in Berlin than China. When I was talking about China compared to the US. Very typically European response, get mad whenever anyone talks about how good someone has it anywhere but Europe. 🙄
