There is something cultural that makes American workers vastly superior to Indians. I won't try to explain why, but I found that Indians could not innovate. Combined with their incessant assurances that they understand requirements, of which they rarely do, it was more expensive, the quality was lacking, and it cost a lot of American jobs.

Leaders don't understand this, and politicians certainly don't. They look only at the bottom line, and are wrong about it.
