In the Netherlands, there was an uproar that SIDN, the .nl domain registry, would move certain services to #AWS. As that circulated the parlieament intervened and a detailed research was done.

From my read, no EU cloud provider, neither #OVH, nor #IONOS or #HETZNER or #STACKIT is able or can compete.

Nevertheless, why do not all european based domain registries join forces?
