@lns idk and it's not my job as a consumer to figure that out. (I'm not intelligent enough to think out of the box from what I'm accustomed to.)

It's just remarkable how big the steps in the beginning of the industry were and how slow it has become now. (which we took for granted)

The point of the post was more or less to point that out. We came from a time where new innovative platforms got released within 2-3 years to a cycle of multiple decades.
