nixCraft 🐧The only good thing that is coming out of the TikTok ban is that kids are downloading another app whose UI is in the Chinese language, and now they are learning Chinese. No wonder Duolingo sees a 216% spike in US users learning Chinese amid the TikTok ban and move to RedNote (Xiaohongshu). They are doing it out of spite, I know, but numerous studies indicate that learning a new language can significantly help improve cognitive abilities, including memory, problem-solving skills, multitasking
