As I was talking to the husband and wife welding crew, two fighter jets came screaming down the border at probably close to supersonic speed and very low. Crazy low.

The guy said that they – the construction crew – were used as training targets. The fighter jets would lock onto their heavy equipment as practice for enemy artillery or tanks. Hopefully those training planes aren't also armed.
