@kubikpixel That’s an interesting read, but pretty focused on lax licenses: the core point of copyleft that it ensures that software stays free is spun as a caveat instead of as a guarantee.

For companies copyleft provides a level playing field with their competitors and for end-users it ensures that skills they acquire with the tool won’t become locked behind added restrictions of proprietary tooling.
