If you choose to rely on DNA tests, how would you avoid bribery and otherwise complicit medical facilities providing fake test results? Then, there is inherit ambiguity on haplogroup attribution, for example, J-M304 while being chief indicator for jewish ancestry is not uncommon in Europeans and even more prevalent in arabs, some false positives are inevitable, especially on the edges of bloodlines dilution. And finally, given a number of companies eager to attribute jewish ancestry even to bananas, I suspect there was a concerted effort in making testing techniques unreliable, so a ground-up research might be required.
