If you love Nordic noir crime series, I strongly recommend "The Breakthrough" (Dansk: Gennembruddet, Svensk: Genombrottet).

Just like the famous series "The Bridge", it is slow, gloomy, and not a single shot is fired. But the characters have depth and are well played by great actors. In particular, Swedish actor Peter Eggers is great as the overworked detective who just cannot let the case rest.

Watch it for the intense emotion and the nerve-wracking realism.
