    What disturbs me even more is their belief that the EU fines Meta simply because it’s a US company.

    No, the EU fines Meta because they break European laws on European soil. What exactly is Mark demanding? That EU laws shouldn’t apply to US companies operating within the EU?

    Think about it. No taxes, no safety standards, nothing. Just because their global HQ is in the US?
