A3: Here's my <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/BikeBag" rel="tag">#BikeBag</a>, what's in the side pouch, the contents of the patch kits, and what's in the main bag. Missing are the lights and odometer, which are in my helmet hanging up in the hallway. The fully loaded bag probably weighs 5kg kg 11lbs, at least as much as a bag of potatoes. The Simson tin contains one large self-adhesive patch, a tube of solvent (completely dried out), a couple of small butyl patches and a couple of white patches, a skinny rubber tube for some old type of valve, a valve cap, the circular metal thing is a tube rougher, a bundle of tie wraps, three tire levers (my grandfather called them "fiets lepels" or "bike spoons"), a couple of (worn) brake pads, and two magnets for odometers I have lost.The white Christophe pantleg strap is beside the Simson tin.The BRC kit (plastic) has a self-adhesive patch in a foil pouch, a tube rougher, two small valve tubes, and a large, segmented, self-adhesive butyl patch.</a></label><br><a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/system/media_attachments/files/113/808/212/312/678/308/original/9af6b7e4978f9b12.jpg" rel="external">https://mastodon.sdf.org/system/media_attachments/files/113/808/212/312/678/308/original/9af6b7e4978f9b12.jpg</a></li><li><label><a rel="external" href="https://gnusocial.jp/attachment/3889167">The side pouch is my toolkit. In the pocket of the pouch is a pen, a tire pressure gauge, a few tie wraps (four red, one black, four dirty chopsticks, a comb, and a plastic fork with some paper serviettes. I must have thought those were useful at one time. The pouch itself has a Pedro multi-bit tool, a chain brute, spoke wrench, a bolt that fell off something, needlenose pliers, slip-joint pliers, flat screwdriver, philips screwdriver, and two patch kits held together with a white Christophe pantleg strap.</a></label><br><a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/system/media_attachments/files/113/808/212/317/823/563/original/0923375e2042b64e.jpg" rel="external">https://mastodon.sdf.org/system/media_attachments/files/113/808/212/317/823/563/original/0923375e2042b64e.jpg</a></li><li><label><a rel="external" href="https://gnusocial.jp/attachment/3889168">Along the top is my reflective jacket (with a button for the Conestoga LRT stop), the bike bag itself, an extra 1 litre waterbottle (that's too large to fit in the bottle cages), and a tin with crackers that I just finished eating (a little stale, they've been in there since summer). Next row has a plastic bag for putting over the seat before it rains (but usually after it rains), a couple of bungie cords, a tire pump, a blue bag with my lights &amp; stuff (wall charger, USB battery bank with a USB cable on top, and a small pouch to hang the battery bank from the handlebars to charge the light while in use), spare batteries, and a spare (incandescant) front light. There's a camouflage bandana, either for hair control (I'm quite shaggy at the moment) or to wipe the bike grease off my fingers, below that a neoprene knee brace, the other white Christophe pantleg strap with a yellow Christophe pantleg strap (I lost the other yellow one on the last WRCycle ride, it was holding my bike seat together), a hoodie in a white plastic bag to keep the water out (but mostly in), a pair of leather gloves, two bottles of sunscreen, the handlebar mount for my cell phone, and above that a box with a spare innertube and some mounting rings and bits for lights and brackets I no longer own.  Missing are the front and back light (currently in my helmet hanging in the hallway), my odometer, and another plastic bag full of more plastic bags.It all weighs about 5kg or 11 lbs, maybe more.</a></label><br><a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/system/media_attachments/files/113/808/349/087/701/701/original/db4448a7ad3327d6.jpg" rel="external">https://mastodon.sdf.org/system/media_attachments/files/113/808/349/087/701/701/original/db4448a7ad3327d6.jpg</a></li></ol></footer></blockquote>
