Tek say resist@mensrea Perhaps. I've been working at a TS shop for a while, now, and I confess that I'm fonder of it now than I would've expected. It's fine. Not my favorite, but I don't hate it. And I would personally prefer to write TS than raw JS any day of the week.
OTOH, I wrote my last project in Python, then used GPT to convert it to TS with minimal changes. Turns out I'm a big fan of transpiling. 😀
