when #threads allows tagging us and there's a ton of assholes over there tagging people here with shit, we'll have a problem. that people can post misinfo on megacorp platforms and have it go viral due to algos and infect the public understanding, that's already a societal problem.

but assuming #meta is still moving ahead with full federation, the @zuck announcement this week is an overall positive imo. allowing news/politics there means everybody can leave #xitter and eventually move here.
