I hope they keep going. The further they go, the clearer the choice will be for most people to decide "no insurance is worth it" because they're never going to cover you anyway. Health insurance? Nah I'll save that money. Home insurance? Nah I'll save that money. At least then you'll have something if you need it.

I'm getting to that point. I pay out $6500 for a year's worth of various insurances, and that just keeps growing year after year. So far that's been a net loss.
