      Synth Mania with Sam Aleums - The Underground Ottawa - 2025-01-08
      Cicada Sound (on Bank St.) is not only an experimental synth store, it's a community hub for electronic musicians throughout the city. Employee and synth maniac Sam Aleums helps organize an open mic for electronic musicians, Catalyst, which further brings this community together and opens it up to the wider Ottawa community. Arturo Brisindi is involved with Switched-On Synths, an event that programs more established synth groups at House of TARG. They come together on this episode to chat about their love for the equipment, the music, and their unique community. Be sure to check out Sam Aleums' album release party on Jan. 17 at Lounge 164!
