I have a love hate relationship with living separately from loved ones. I miss living with people who care about me, but that care always came with some cost. Brainwashing, neglect, abuse, illegal drugs stored in the house, people micro managing where I went and what time I got home. I mis the feeling of being taken care of, having someone to cook for me, the feeling of parallel play. But I've learned to have those feelings outside my home. Truly, living on my own has allowed me to recharge from cult trauma and challenges in a way living with people who thought they knew me better never did. This move really has been for the better.
