My takeaway here is that Forth is a chaotic system. Small changes in initial conditions lead to large differences in outcomes. The stack means the meaning of any one statement is dependent on the entire history of the program to that point! That means Forth is precise if you understand exactly what you're doing, but if your understanding is even a *little* off— say, because the documentation for just one keyword in the whole program is unclear— you get chaotic behavior and all is lost.
