So get this.
In #Connecticut, #wetlands are protected by law, and can't be disturbed.
But there are *exceptions* to the law that include agriculture, which includes, weirdly enough, forestry. And these are called, "as of right", as in, you can do them without a permit.
BUT there are *exceptions to the exceptions* to say that certain activities in forestry require permits, like building a road through a wetland.
AND there are also best practices that are guidelines but not required.
