the most No Fun Allowed decision in MTG in recent memory imo is changing the default name of a token from its types to its types plus the word "token"

they did it so you couldn't use [[Pithing Needle]] to shut down Blood tokens by naming Blood from [[Flesh // Blood]]

there was also a nebulous thing that nobody could agree whether it really worked or not, but there was a good argument to be made that if you could give yourself protection from a chosen card name, you could use the silver border card [[Ninja]] to get protection from ninja tokens
