That's exactly my point. Biden is not obliged to attend, and he shouldn't. Of course he will follow the constitution, but should make a strong political point that although transfer of power will happen peacefully, he and the rest of the democratic world will not normalize insurrectionists and felons.

It is his utmost moral obligation to a democratic (small d) nation that honored him with the highest office of the land.

He must not fail the people.
