@FrailLeaf If the hill is not too steep, you can just slowly let off the brake while slowly engaging the clutch and you'll only roll back a few centimeters before the clutch holds the car and then you let go of the brake and accelerate while continuing to fully engage the clutch.

If the hill is quite steep, you'll want to engage the handbrake, accelerate, slowly engage the clutch until it grabs and then release the handbrake and then continue to fully engage the clutch.
