B KahnI enjoy reading about history and also listening to history books read aloud. There are times, however, where I find myself sighing. As when listening to a description of countries and empires fighting over Syria. It was in the 1840s if I recall correctly, but with a few mental adjustments, it sounded oh so contemporary. Good grief.
