Apropos of current Fedi Main Character but perennially applicable: everyone, every single person (but particularly anyone high-profile and/or male) needs a mutual who often reads their posts, who can tell them to log off and stop posting, and whom they solemnly swear to obey (or at least, whose advice to seriously consider) in this regard. Plus, ideally, a few other mutuals who know who they are and can contact them if necessary. Like an emergency contact, but for embarrassing yourself on the internet.

I'm completely fucking serious about this. This is one of the responsibilities of the backup admin for the server I run.
