Paul SuttonGermany has called a general election for Feb, if the Afd (Alternative for Deutschland) win they are one of the anti immigration parties who could end up taking German immigration policy in a different direction, esp after the incident at the Market before Christmas.
Aside from that, I would take advantage of the many online courses to learn German, the country, culture etc.
