In the context of the question of this poll, the end is the liberation of the working class from capitalism, which would ultimately be preferable to the entire working class, and the implications of this poll is that the means in this case would be able to achieve these desirable ends for the working class and is asking whether these means would be justified due to being able to achieve the ends even if the means were seen as unethical.
