Anyone recommend a good, easy-to-understand book on the history of WWII…preferably that explains what Germany did right and also what decisions cost them the war?

I’d also like to read about the nuts and bolts of exactly how Uncle A saved the obliterated German Economy and lifted it from Weimar-level poverty to NSDAP-era prosperity.

Even better if any of these books are appropriate to pass on to younger relatives once I’m done reading them.
