I've been an out and proud queer as Josh Simmons since 2008, and I've come to understand that I'm genderqueer, too. Agender, I think? Nonbinary, probably. Changing my name and pronouns is part of aligning with this understanding, and making room for more self-actualization by reducing dysphoria.

I don't know where this journey will take me exactly, but I don't want to live inauthentically even a single day longer than necessary.
