@graf @j @Tepid_Tapir just from those photos it looks like a puncture wound from a fight with another cat. does he go out, or fight with another cat in the house? if it *is* an abcessed puncture wound, those are painful but not in any way life-threatening and can wait until Monday to be addressed. this is just my two cents from 50+ years of keeping cats.
