The right one is stretched to grasp the handle part of a pair of small rainbow hue sewing scissors, the gesture looking like the cat is right about to learn how to operate some thread snips even without a thumb due to sheer determination. The left paw is sort of curled, and in conjunction to the right it's actually just the cat making biscuits, each paw out of phase with the other. Not extremely helpful with the sewing, though. The paws look enormous in scale with the quite small scissors. The colours are wonderful, he a sort of toffee and copper tone, the skirt a cinnamon brown and the facing a purplish warm dark brown.
