Hello. Exactly, boosted posts are now "your content" in some twisted way, and subject to the user post maximum counter instead of the other one. And, as you say, boosting some parts of the conversation tree to keep the context intact in you public timeline is the proper thing to do, in my opinion.

I agree that these boosted posts are there for a different reason, though, and marking them as such is an interesting consideration. I'll think about it.
