      Mandating cash acceptance | Treasury.gov.au
      We invite feedback on a planned mandate for businesses to accept cash when selling essential items. There will be appropriate exemptions for small businesses. The consultation paper considers: the needs of those who rely on cash the mandate’s scope and application how to promote compliance cash distribution and access. To express interest in meeting with the project team, email CashAcceptanceConsultation@treasury.gov.au.
