@artcollisions I mostly eat out at Mexican and Salvadoran and Chinese and Thai places here. I can make some of it (especially the Chinese and Thai), but at least we get pretty good versions of all the things.
The ‘new Californian’ food that the Bay Area is known for pisses me off the most. It’s just a poor excuse for poor seasoning and lack of labor. (Except at the 1-3 places that pioneered it)
