Most fucking people can't follow a conversation properly, and it makes it ridiculously easy for others to exploit them. They fumble their way through on some kind of flowchart that only takes account of the moment to moment feeling of the conversation. They can be steered away from difficult topics or statements with distractions so long as those distractions offer something emotionally compelling.

I bring this up not to say "heh... those disgusting HUUUUMANS are so easy to manipulate...." but to say "jesus fucking christ please just wake up and stop letting people run rings around you!!" Remember statements! Remember wordings! If someone fucking tried it on with you, CALL IT OUT AND DON'T LET GO.
