So yesterday I was running some practice games against this girl at the club. She was clearly a much better player than me, and she kicked my ass most of the games we played, but I'll never forget our second match. I started out with this complete dogshit hand, so she was able to get her setup going with a big lead. She had a standard Ranma 1/2 deck, and she was able to get Transfem Shinji online early, which wasn't a dangerous card on its own but had the ability to summon Madoka and Homura, which she did. I didn't have a counter-summon, and we both knew that, so she played her cards and attacks all in order with a growing smile on her face.

So I'm at like 300 life, right. Next turn I calmly place down the card that I've been holding onto since turn 3. Transmasc Lain. The smile immediately drops from her face. None of her cards have Manosphere, and she has to banish all of them to the Wired. Transmasc Lain's power depends on the power of the cards in the Wired, so I completely erased her life bar in the next two turns. Of course I lost the next few games against her, but that moment made me feel like I could really make it in the big leagues.
