whatever the specific phrasing, it boils down to "I'm ace, so I can't do sexual misconduct and even if it looks like I did, it wasn't by definition".
this is disturbing in a very special way. I'm not even sure where to begin - between invalidating victims' experiences, using asexual and acespec people as a meat shield to hide behind, and a few more things I can't quite put into words.
but it feels too important to not try pointing it out, even if I don't have a more in-depth take to share. I don't think I've seen anyone around do it yet.
