Annika Backstromok customer support unlocked the hidden "modem mode" (bridge mode) on my cable modem. My Alien router is still confused (it's "diagnostics" function thinks it can't reach the gateway, but clients can reach the gateway…?) and IPv6 is not working, but this feels like progress anyway.
