Today you have lots of crew and few opportunities. Tomorrow you have lots of opportunities but your best crew are gone because you assigned them yesterday.

Even within a day, once you start assigning crew, things begin to reweight and skew in your mind, assuming the opportunities aren't so simple you planned everything out in advance.
